Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of snailworkmail ("the Service"), an email hosting service operated from the Republic of Korea and available at snailworkmail.com. By creating an account or connecting a domain, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

snailworkmail hosts email on domains you own. We receive mail addressed to your domain, store it, and let you read and send from a web interface. Setup requires you to add DNS records at your domain registrar; we verify them before enabling delivery. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

2. Accounts

You sign up with a personal email address you already control — not an address on the domain you are about to connect. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account, including any mailbox logins you issue to other people. You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.

3. Domains

You may only connect domains you own or are authorised to administer. Adding DNS records that point mail for a domain to us is a claim of authority over that domain, and we act on it. If you lose control of a domain, mail for it stops reaching you; that is a function of DNS, not something we can reverse.

4. Plans and billing

Billing is per domain, not per person or per address. The free plan gives one address per domain with limited storage and a 90-day retention window. The paid plan is charged per domain and makes addresses and aliases unlimited on that domain. Adding people to your team never changes the price.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for refunds and cancellation.

5. Your mail

Your messages are yours. By using the Service you grant us the limited licence needed to operate it — to receive, store, index, transmit, and display your mail to you. We do not read your mail, and we do not use its contents to train models, target advertising, or build profiles. Automated processing is limited to what delivery requires: spam scoring, virus and authentication checks, threading, and search indexing.

6. Acceptable use

Email deliverability is a shared resource. One abusive sender can get an entire platform's mail rejected, so these rules are enforced strictly:

• No bulk or unsolicited mail. The Service is for correspondence, not campaigns. Do not use it for newsletters, marketing blasts, cold outreach at volume, or any mailing to recipients who did not ask to hear from you. We do not sell a bulk-sending add-on at any price.
• No phishing, spoofing, or fraud — including impersonating another person or organisation.
• No malware, and no using the Service to distribute it.
• No illegal content, and no content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• No evading limits — including connecting extra domains to multiply sending allowances, or automating account creation.

Daily sending limits apply to your account as a whole and start low on new accounts. We may lower a limit, suspend sending, or suspend an account when bounce or complaint rates rise, and we may do so without prior notice — by the time we ask first, the damage to delivery is already done. Suspension of sending does not stop you receiving mail or reading what you already have.

7. Availability and data

The Service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. On the free plan, messages older than 90 days may be deleted, and once a domain is over its storage limit we temporarily refuse new incoming mail rather than deleting anything — senders retry, and the mail arrives once you free space or upgrade. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

8. Termination

You may delete mailboxes, disconnect domains, and stop using the Service at any time. Deleting a mailbox or a domain deletes the mail in it, and we cannot recover it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or USD 10 if you paid nothing).

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
